Pada tanggal 8 Oktober 2019 melalui akun Youtube nya Maroon 5 mengeluarkan video clip dari single lagu yang berjudul Memories. Pada lagu memories ini ada sedikit yang berbeda dimana musisi asal Amerika ini menulis lirik ini lagu yang terberat yang pernah ditulis.
Sahabat JagOAN mungkin lagu yang bernuansa sedih ini diciptakan untuk mengenang Sahabat Adam Levine yang bernama Jordan Feldstein yang wafat pada Desember 2017, kesedihannya itu yang kemudian dia tumpahkan pada lagu Memories.
Namun sebenarnya siapa Jordan itu ? Jordan adalah kakak dari aktor dan komedian Jonan Hill yang meninggal karena gumpalan darah di kakinya. Jordan wafat pada usia 40 tahun. Dilansir dari Ace Showbiz Adam Levine berkata " Aku baru saja kehilangan manager dan sababatku".
Selama berkarier dalam dunia musik Adam belum pernah membuat lagu bertema kesedihan yang mendalam, namun dengan rasa amat terpukul akan kehilangan sahabatnya Adam bisa membuat lagu yang bikin semua orang baper alias bawa perasaan.
Lagu ini diciptakan untuk mengenang jasa-jasa sahabatnya, yang setiap hari di rindukannya dan merindukannya adalah cara terbaik untuk membalas jasanya. Selama berkarier Maroon 5 telah banyak meraih prestasi berupa penghargaan, penghargaan tersebut diantaranya adalah tiga Grammy, tiga American Music Awards dan empat Billboard Music Awards.
